| CODY CAME IN A DAY EARLY!!!!!! That Boy!!! I wanted to meet him at the airport. I was just thankful that when I got home from work and he met me at the door for a hug. I sure needed to put my hands on him and touch him. 18 months is just to long to go without seeing even your adult children. I feel so Blessed that he traveled safely. Love and prayers to all | | |
| Hi Friends and Family, Wow it has been to long!!! I can hardly believe it has been so very long since I last wrote.-- Life has been keeping me as busy as I think I have ever been. My Granparents, Yolanda and David-- Just on all fronts. I am so Thankful that Cody is coming home from Korea this week. He will be in on Wednesday. it has been 18 months since we saw him. Cody is so wonderful to call and keep us up to date on his life that it is hard to believe it has been so long. Lotus will be joining us and we will celebrate an early Christmas as they will fly to be with Lotus's family at Christmas. ( Southern California) I feel so blessed that all the children will be in one place at one time. Thanks to those of you that have shared that with me that you saw Cody send greetings from Korea after the Razorback game. I missed it and was just sick about it. I am going to call the station and see if they can make me a copy of it. Please pray for My sweet Cody as he travels and Lotus also. Please pray for my granparents and for Yolanda, Candace and David. God is Good and Gracious and Blesses me in so many ways. Without HIS comfort and strength I just couldn't do it. I am very thankful the Lord has carried me through so much of these past couple of months. The next month as we get ready to move will be busy and I don't know how much I will be on line. | Just talked to Cody, He will be having a colonoscopy on Tuesday. They will be taking a biopsy to check for cancer because Cody has been so tired lately. Lotus will be able to go with Cody. That is such a comfort to know he has Lotus and that someone that loves him is there for him. Keep my swwet Son in your prayers. please. Love, Kelly | | |
| Cody collapsed after a he had a P T test. He thinks it is in association with his crones disease. They are taking him to the hospital at yonsong. I'm really worried about him. He is so far away and I hope that Lotus can meet him over there. Thats about all the information I have. Please lift this sweet young man in prayers. | | |
| Wow It has been a long time since I last left a message. I have been so busy. I really thought as my children grew and became so independant that my life would slow down. Not so-----I tell ya---The day begins and ends and I rarely get everthing finished that I want to. I haven't been sleeping well at night so in the evening I am tired and am not as productive as I would like to be.
The most important change that is going on in my life is that my Grandparents are moving back to California. I am going to miss them so much. since I was 13 My Granny has been more a mother than a grandparent. For the past 6 years I have gone to Broken Bow Oklahoma every 4-6 weeks and spent the Weekend. These past 2 years they have been so sick. seem after they turned 80 It seems thier health went right out the window! I am going to miss them so much---. They have blessed my life and have given me so many blessings that my sisters and brother never got the benefit of. Well, I really will miss them. I am not so sure that in some ways that it is best for them to move. Though, I know for the health benefits it is best because they will be minutes literally instead of and hour and a half away from a proper hospital. My mother (and I say that because she gave birth to me) will be in the same town as well as my favorite of my mother's brothers, my Uncle Philip. My Uncle Philip is a sweetheart and I think he will be a calming force for everyone. My grandfather doesn't want to move and Granny says she is going no matter what, Please keep my precious granparents in your prayers. I am really very worried about them. Please also pray that my mother when she comeout on the 15th of September will not drive a wedge between Granny and Gene my Grandfather which is not her natural father. My Papa passed away my Granny remariied. Mother has never given Gene a chance. My Grandfather can't stand mother and I don't blame him. Please keep this in prayer for mother to keep her own adgenda out of things and honor and respect My Grandfather while she is in his home. The problem is that she(mother) is not a christian and not motivated by biblical principles. Thanks for listening. I'll try not to be gone so long
Oh, Please keep our sweet Jennifer in prayer--Her mother is (birth) is very ill and not doing good at all. Keep Jennifer lifted as she has many pressures put upon her.
Keep sweet Cody and Lotus in prayer. for my birthday they sent me a picture of them framed and everthing. When asked that was what I asked for!!!!
